Luke Palmisano

Luke’s freelance photography career began in late 2001, after he graduated from Ohio University’s award-winning School of Visual Communication. He first worked with Garnett Publishing, publishing over 35 annual color magazines that, in a three year span, reached a circulation of over 650,000. He is currently the General Partner of Blue House Photography. Luke has quite an extensive freelance photo-journalism background, which includes work for publications such as Newsweek Magazine, People Magazine, The New York Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Dallas Morning News, Chicago Tribune, and ESPN Magazine. He won first place in the General Photo Category in the 2004 Cleveland Press Club’s annual Excellence in Journalism awards, was nominated for the Hearst Journalism awards in 2000 and was named the Athens Post’s Photographer of the Year in 1999-2000.
